Sandra, the main difference between 24w and 36w is power. So yes, basically for the 36w lamp it will usually take a little less time to cure gel.
It is recommended to use at least 36W for gel polishes or gels.
So I recommend to choose 36 watts

That's very good advice Anastasia. I did sometimes see this when I was training but I don't think it was the tutor at fault maybe the student forgetting to clean the top and the sides of the bottle or could have been just pure laziness and thinking let someone else do it. But in the process as you said cause the gel polishes to go bad and dry out effectively, hence making them useless. I also noticed they never used the colour nail tip that goes on the lid of the bottles. This was a few years ago so could have changed, but I will do with mine can't afford to be wasting gel polishes. x

Thanks for sharing Clare. Yes, by the way I took a bad example bottle from out training room. It's very common for students to leave it like this. And yes it's not only about being untidy but also is a waste of product.

thank you. I noticed some thickening on a couple of bottles. One issue I have is upon application of Gel-Lacquer and the use of the sticky tack remover. Some of the polish come off when taking off the sticky tack.

Kisa, if some color is coming off when you take off the sticky layer - usually it means that gel is not completely cured. Maybe lamp is old or not powerful enough for the particular color
