  • Both products are used as nail extensions. They both can also be used on natural nails, tips or forms. 
  • These techniques are good for clients, who have a habit of chewing their nails as they are very hard to chew off.
  • Polygel and Hard Gel can be applied as an overlay on natural nails, or as a nail enhancement. They are cured under a UV.
  • Polygel and Gel nails have a shiny, fresh look. They are more flexible than acrylic nails.
  • The formula of these products has a pleasant scented odor.

Can you please do a tutorial video of how to get a perfect shape from side wall to side wall if the free edge is really filed down, i tried it but it never links well with the nail rather than the skin around and that causes my gel polish to lift(´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀)

Francesca, thank you. I'm already doing that. It doesn't create an apex. If I'm lucky, it self levels a bit more, but it doesn't magically create the apex. Using IBD Hard Gel Builder Gel. Trying out the NSI Builder in a Bottle...

I have seen your application technique, moving side to side, never losing contact with the product. OMG I CAN'T DO IT!!! Is there not another technique? Using IBD hard gel and the consistency just makes your technique impossible for a self taught non professional!! HELP!! I even did your entire online gel course and STILL can't make your technique work. I do my best and have to file the nail surface to make it smooth and even. *Sigh*

I love polygel only ever used gelish brand. I would love to explore other brands and colors. Some polygel brands are expensive.

I have used most of the brands from amazon. I am very happy with Gelish brand. Head and shoulders above the rest. Its softer, but holds it shape, its less sticky, needs very little slip, or alcohol. No bubbles, cures perfect every time. Even if I have mixed a bit too much pigment/glitter in, it still cures great. Don't waste your money like I did trying other brands that are currently out.... in my opinion. I've done my own nails for over 25 years.

I have issues applying Polygel because I can't avoid the bubbles. As much as I try it always happens causing me to stress out about moisture hence Greenies and lifting. Please help! Gracias from Dallas, TX
